Disneyland Paris trip report May 2016 - Day 5

So here it is, the final day of our May trip =(

We took a bit more time in the hotel this morning, making sure everything was packed up and ready to go and that no one got left behind before dropping our bags off at reception ready to pick up later, then it was time for our breakfast reservation at Cafe Mickey.

Now I went to Cafe Mickey for the first time back on my March trip this year, I had heard really mixed things prior to my visit so was apprehensive but I really enjoyed it in the end, I had heard from a lot of people that the breakfast was better, so was quite excited and thought it would be a good way to round off such a brilliant holiday. Believe me when I say it did not disappoint! Which was a big relief, we saw Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Tigger and Chip and Dale, the chipmunks were our favourites by far. We were seated in the conservatory section, which although it is much brighter than the main restaurant I did not enjoy as much as kids passing by kept peering in the windows which felt a little weird when we were trying to eat. But the selection of breakfast food is good, and it's nice to have the option of hot food if you've been staying at the budget hotels all week!

After breakfast we spent the day we watching our favourite shows, goofy's garden party and Minnie's spring train, as well as re-riding some of our favourite attractions, Orbitron, Phantom Manor, small world, Casey Junior etc. We had lunch at Bella Notte before finishing up on our shopping and heading back to the hotel to get the magic shuttle back to the airport!

For me the highlights of my trip were probably the Character dining experiences, and the character meets, we were lucky enough to each fill our autograph books and get some great photos which will make great memories for sprog as she grows up.

My next trip to DLP is already booked and I'll be back in the magic at the end of September ready for the inaugural Disneyland Paris half marathon so I'm starting the countdown to that to keep the Disney blues at bay!
Thanks to everyone who has followed our trip, please as always leave any comments or questions below!

  1. This is great if you're in Paris for a short weekend and want to give the kids a taste of Disneyland.
Disneyland Paris is transformed for Halloween and by visiting at this time you can experience
things that are not available at any other time of year.
Worth mentioning is the fun nautical theme, which can be quite fun especially for children.
